Welcome to My New Old Friend

My friend, Cassandra, aka drchick created an LJ account on Sunday after I insisted she needed one. I even started it and named her without her permission. She and I are fairly similar and I'm sure she'd like to meet some new friends so add her if you like and she'll add you back.
Anyway, to explain her name, we've called each other "Chick" since we met in college 12 years ago. We've always called each other that and we call our girls "Chicklets" (we just can't bring ourselves to call them doodles).
Hope everyone's having a great day! I'll probably post a zillion times today and tomorrow because I have lots to say!

Last night, inbetween torrential downpours, there was a perfect rainbow in front of our house. I mean it was bright, vivid and you could see it go to the ground on both sides. So, naturally we take the girls out to see it. Schyler responds to this by jumping up and down shouting "the Care Bears are coming! The Care Bears are coming!" hehehe Needless to say she was crushed when it disappeared, but I thought it was so cute I just had to share!

A woman was sitting at a bar enjoying an after work cocktail with her girlfriends when an exceptionally tall, handsome, extremely sexy, middle-aged man entered. He was so striking that the woman could not take her eyes off him. The young-at-heart man noticed her overly attentive stare and walked directly toward her. (As all men will.)
Before she could offer her apologies for so rudely staring, he leaned over and whispered to her, "I'll do anything, absolutely anything, that you want me to do, no matter how kinky, for $20.00......on one condition." (There are always conditions)
Flabbergasted, the woman asked what the condition was. The man replied, "You have to tell me what you want me to do in just three words." (Controlling, Huh?)
The woman considered his proposition for a moment, and then slowly removed a $20 bill from her purse, which she pressed into the man's hand along with her address. She looked deeply into his eyes, and slowly and meaningfully said..

"Clean my house."

I just couldn't help myself! How true is that?
